The 2017 study entitled Washington State Antifouling Paint Alternatives Assessment Report completed by Northwest Green Chemistry found Ecominder to have the highest performance rating for a one-year coating.
Ecominder was named a top boat paint performer in the San Diego Unified Port District, Safer Alternatives to Copper Antifouling Paints on Marine Vessels research project. After 20 months Ecominder was one of only two antifouling paints found to meet the project performance criteria.
